Pentravel, its branches, subsidiaries and associated travel companies, (known hereafter as "the Company") is licensed by IATA and ASATA as a Retail Travel Agency and its acts at all times, unless constrained by law or in itself acting as a principal, as an agent or broker for its various principals, inter alia: airlines, shipping companies, car hire and touring firms, tour operators, hotels and other providers of transport, sea or land arrangements. As such, the Company undertakes to provide the services of such principals to the customer on a contractual basis as an agent for these principals and is therefore not responsible for any act or omission by such principals or their agents which may be prejudicial to our customers or result in loss in any way or form. The Company will undertake its best endeavours to successfully and efficiently provide the services required by the customer, but in providing any service to any customer the Company reserves the right to levy charges for administration, communication and cancellation on charges. Furthermore it is a condition of business that any such charge made by the Company is over and above any service, administration communication or cancellation charge made by any of the principals to whom we have contracted the customer. The terms and conditions of our principals are available on request but it is the responsibility of the customer and not the Company to ensure that these condition are understood and accepted and the Company disclaims any responsibility in this regard. The terms and conditions applicable when the Company acts as principal, that is, when the Company produces and markets its own products under its own or a brand and name, are available for inspection at all times and are also supplied at the time of making the reservation.
